I have used this product for five years. I have only one complaint it has no rope hole for a tie-in, have to run it down thru the zipper opening. OR recommends you do not zip all the way closed for ventilation. So tie-in point not much of problem. It is light and water proof. Most of my solo stuff it has been my only shelter, if you have to live in it because of bad weather is best to find a little out cove to hide in or a snow cave in winter. The bug netting is in the way most of time, but when you need it’s a life saver, Winds Rivers or in the south. The pole helps in very wet weather and for venting of moister in summer or cold temps. I like the pole for venting since I use down sleeping bags. Is not perfect but what is?
