Lan Solo

Great pad. This thing has 1.5" of open celled foam and 1.5" of closed cell foam. It's cool how it has the 1.5" of closed cell foam sectioned off in .5" mats. It leaves room for a lot off adjustments(playing with the layers) with the mats of foam in the pad. It has a nice upholstry fabric on the top [it has the nice car upholstry(it feels soft) fabric in it]. The closed cell foam that came with it was kind bigger than the exterior so I had to trim to fit, now it's perfect. It has a cool little pouch that clips to the top of the pad so you can stuff yer cell phone, keys, or wallet in it. It has a vinyle flap that covers the bottom so you can stuff whatever you may want w/o the fear of dropping things on the trail. I would have like a waist strap to help with the load. It gets kinda awkward carrying it on yer back. So I give this cool pad a 4.75.
