The three-person The North Face HIM 35 expedition tent uses Lift Technology to keep the tent stable in unstable weather conditions. Lift Technology pole/hub system on rainfly lets wind pass through, lifting the tent slightly for increased stability. Dual doors and vestibules provide user-friendly entry/exit and good ventilation pole-supported front vestibule has a snowflap for added stability. Fusion Pitch combines continuous pole sleeves with clip construction for easy setup and improved ventilation without sacrificing strength. DAC Featherlite NSL poles utilize unique inserts to create strong, functional poles that save weight and reduce breakage. Color-matched canopy and rainfly webbing allow easy setup side-release buckles at pole intersection points ensures a very stable connection. Taped, seam-tensioned bathtub floor offers the clean angles and usable space of a catenary cut without requiring seam sealing. Rainfly and floor have waterproof coatings for superior protection and durability. Polyurethane windows, cold-crack tested to -60deg F, improve living conditions by increasing light and views. Reflective guyline loops, guylines and zipper pulls help locate tent in the dark, minimizing the risk of tripping over guylines or kicking it loose. No-stretch Kevlar guylines with self-locking cams hold the vestibule taut for the severe conditions 4-season tents might encounter. Pitch the rainfly only with poles and corresponding footprint sold separately for a weight-saving, minimalist summer shelter. Includes stakes, guylines with cams and a compression stuff sack.
