This purpose-built pack uses a single aluminum stay to support a days worth of gear, which you can pack into the 3100cu inch main compartment. The Pursuit Packs front pocket holds your shovel, probe, and skins to keep emergency gear easily accessible. The side ski straps reverse to hold a snowboard if you prefer to ride one plank instead of two. Of course, the frame and top lid come off to lower this packs weight when you just go on a quick half-day outing.
