Review 5 out of 5 stars

There are always a select few products that out perform the competitors, this is one of them. The curved faces of these hexes allows for a camming action when loaded, making them bomber. I would like to see them available unwired. Many don’t like cowbells due to their size/weight, but compared to cams, hexes are cheaper and lighter and will fit the majority of placement you can find. I love these hexes.

I would like to give 4.25 / 4.5 but there is no fractional rating. These are the easiest pieces of pro I have to place. They feel more solid than any of my other passive gear. The only gripe I have is that the cables could be a little stiffer on the 3 largest sizes since they are cowbell sized. It might help in a overhead placement. Having said that, I still recommend them above my older set of BD's.

Used Hexentrics before this, will never go back, maybe it is my area. But these are fantastic, almost feels like active pro.

I have only sizes 1-5 to supplement my small-medium wires. I seem to use #3 almost every climb, and when these pieces go in, they often feel a lot more solid than a wired nut/stopper. I would recommend the small sizes for all climbers who will ever be placing gear. These are a good place to start a rack.

Not the best, and often difficult to place when the crack is not "weird." If you're not dealing with lots of big crystals inside the cracks, they're not worth the money.
