Love the bottles. The are "unbreakable" as I accidently dropped one (full) from about 50 feet. It only sustained scratches. Also, the wide mouth design serves two great purposes; it makes it easy to slug water in mass quantities and adapts to my MSR purifier and pumps purified water straight into the bottle. They clip nice to a rack anything with a biner as well.

I have 3 of them, and did test on them for my own fun. Took 1 filled with water, one empty, tossed them over a 125 foots cliff onto rock. No cracks no breaks, just a scratch. They are so sweet, hold a lot, mix supplemment drinks great. Just too good for words.

These bottles are pretty good, as they say they are almost indistructable. Which is good for someone who is rough with them. Granted like everything they have their down sides, they have a tendency to smell of or old water or what ever liquid you have in it, after a while. But that is to be expected, what I see as Nalgenes best quality is that if you do break one the co will send you a brand new bottle for free, of couse it all depends on how the bottle breaks.

I almost never use my camelbak anymore for trips requiring me to a bring a pack because of these. No leaking, no breaking, I love them. Plus, I get them free. No person should be without a Nalgene.
