Great rope. I'm using it as my lead line right now. I have the safe control version, and it's awesome. It's really really light and easy to clip with. It runs through a gri gri like butter.
First fall on a beal rope was kinda scary cause of the stretch, but you come to get use to it and thankful. beal is known for their stretchyness.
Definately the best rope i've used. The stats compare up to higher diameters as well.
only drawback is look out for when you're lowering, unexpectingly quick.

I'm giving this rope a 4.
It's a great rope, I use it for both sport and trad leading. Nice and light. Also, the middle comes pre-marked, which I like. It's a bit on the stiffer side of ropes I've used, which I think makes for easier clipping.
It is slicker than snot when you first use it though, so be aware of that regardless of what belay device you use. I wasn't getting enough friction on a regular ATC on rappel, made me a bit nervous!
Durability wise, so far this rope has held up fine to normal trad/sport wear. Not sure how it will do down the road, but I do expect it will wear faster than my 10.5s.

My current lead line. Exceptional low impact force means this rope stretches a lot. Save it for leading because that's where it excels. Not a good first rope or toproping rope. Beal is known for soft, great handling ropes and this one holds true to that. Unfortunately that means a sacrifice in durability. Still, so long as you don't abuse this rope, it will last. I've used this rope on a couple of sierra routes and many JTree leads and it's still in great shape.

Pretty good rope and light at that. I just cannot see any difference between a non-DRY and a DRY one except when it's new as the rope tended to slide a bit more in my reverso. A few weeks later it was all right. Just be carefull belaying when the rope is new and you are using a gri-gri.

I've had this rope for 2 weeks and it is already trashed... The rope is too soft - any leader fall will cause the sheath to fray. After only 2 weeks both ends look like my dog used this as her chew toy. I've owned many ropes in my time and this has to be the worst. I'm taking the rope back this afternoon.
