I have to second climbingfreak's opinion: there is some good climbing, but the interviews are laughable. Perhaps the most intersting part of the entire DVD is the takeouts at the end - you get to see Chris Sharma run headlong into a boulder.

Okay movie. The climbing is great but the interviews are dumb. Especially watching Chris Sharma baked out of mind, trying to describe climbing. Nate Gold is no better, he's just confused the whole time. Josh Lowell: People don't want to see people baked during an interview!

I like videos of people pulling hard on some sick hard routes as much as the next guy, but Pilgrimmage is what climbing videos should be like. It focuses not only on the climbs, but the thoughts and attitudes of the climbers as they develop, work, and learn the new problems laid out before them. Not stopping there, the adventure of the climbing trip as a whole is captured and presented. The three personalities of the climbers is captured well and often they alone are as entertaining as any of the climbs. But don't be fooled...the climbing is still the central focus of the movie. All in all, a complete climbing video not to be missed.

Very soulful and motivational. Not your typical fast action video, but an intersting look at Sharma, Katie Brown and Nate climbing in a beautiful setting. This made me want to go out and find my own magical place, where you can just climb all day and discover new problems without running into tons of people, with no guidebook or need for one.
If you're into fast action, you might find this a little slow or maybe even boring. I found it more of an "inspirational" video than a "holy s*&t I'm stoked to go pull down" kind of flick. Definitely a cool perspective on life and exploring, with some interesting info on the local Indian people, their culture and religion.
If you like bouldering, and want to be inspired to go travel and take your own pilgrimage, buy this video.
