I've had 4 of these. The lids seem to hold up quite nicely, even clipping them with a carabiner. Problem I've had is that two of them developed little cracks in their sides within 2 months of purchasing them. I've since switched to the nalgene sports bottle and have had no problems at all.

i drink a lot when i climb but hate having to don my camelpak. have both the 20 and 26 oz bottles. they clip to the back or side of the harness and stay out of the way, much better than having a big lump on my back. either carries enough fluid for 2-3 pitch climbs plus descent. both together sufficient for 4-6 pitches plus descent. built-in clip loop means biner is always attached, and squeeze bottle action less hassle than screw-tops. easy to clean with the big camelpak brush
