Great Jacket

Lightweight yet warm. It is great for climbing and hiking as it does little to restrict movement. The pockets are a blessing and a curse. They are huge and can hold a camera, lunch, or even a another jacket, however, they are awkwardly placed, and you look quite silly if you put your hands in them for warmth. The jacket performs well in light rain, and I even use it (in a layered context) in winter or alpine environments.
Gamma SV the softshell

I found this softshell to be bomber down to any temp with a good base layer, ideal for ice climbing.

Great performance, exellent water/wind resistance, perfect cut. A little warm for summer and a little too thin for full winter environments, perfect for early spring and late fall or warmer climates like Squamish winters.
