If this shoe fits you right, you will love it and possibly never purchase a different pair of velcros. I have been through 3 resoles in my babies. They look like they should have been retired a long while back, but they are still climbing strong and smelling strong. Based on the other reviews I guess that I got lucky with the durability issue.

This was the first shoe i ever bought. There are some good aspects about it and bad ones here they are:
pros:
-they are colorful
-they stick to their shape
-wide heel box
Cons:
-toe box is small
-they wear out very quickly.
pretty good beginners shoe. not my favorite.

I find this shoe really good. Really comfortable, and edges very well. Smear really sucks on these shoes, but I think it is designed for that. Heel hooks better than any shoes I have ever worn. Buy it and you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent performance (5/5). Very poor durability (1/5). They start to delaminate almost immediately. Many people have complained about this!

i'm a fan of the cobras for sure, but they weren't giving the best performance for slab climbing. the katanas are great because they offer more stiffness and excellent edging. once they're worn in they feel comfortable, and i think they're a solid shoe.
