Review 2 out of 5 stars

unless you're on a serious budget, these guys aren't really worth it. my bro dropped about ten feet one time when lowering when one of these walked right out of a crack and zippered the next two pieces. the action just isn't tight enough, and the cams are really close together, so they pivot really easy. again, though, if you really can't pay the extra ten or fifteen bucks for much nicer cams, these will do the job

I have just ordered size 1/3 and the price of them is incredible, if you compare them to other double stem cams there almost the same qualities but much cheaper !!!

Currently, Robots are the only cams on my rack. I’ve been using them regularly for the past 4 months and I am really happy with them. They feel solid and are the best bargain out there. With that said, there’s a few downsides. For starters, when someone tells you, you need a #3 camalot for the crux, you need to know that means you need a #5 robot. My #1 robot doesn’t seem to have smooth trigger action compared to the other ones but that doesn’t hinder my ability to place it. I also feel that other cams (notably, camalots) fit a wider range of cracks for a given piece. When it comes down to it, I think the robots are a great first set of cams and you can buy “nicer” cams to double up on the sizes you need most.

they are for sure good for the money. the safety cannot be questioned sice they are passed with the CE and UIAA certifications. ive used these on multi pitch (i own 1-5 to complement a rack consisting of RE, Cassin, BD and trango) and work great. i recommend them for a first rack.
