They are the original, and the best. Love 'em.
Useful for anyone, and a must for beginners. The micros are okay, although I hardly use them. You may consider DMM or HB for the smaller stuff, but BD's stoppers are fine for 90% of the stuff a trad climber will come across.

If you want nuts, get these. There is a reason that they are the most popular nuts out there. They just work. Their simple, no frills design helps them fit into just about any placement.

Definitely the nut design of choice. I am very happy to hear they are now anodized as that is the single thing mine lack. Key gear for everyone. Nothng makes you feel as safe as a good nut and no other nuts fit so much so well as these.
