Better than Hotwire, but discontinued

Stronger than Hotwire with a nice rope-bearing surface. Otherwise very similar. Great full size wiregate. Good for wider nylon slings and webbing. Good for rope end of Petzl dogbones (sport draw runners). Good luck finding them, however.

On sale for $4.68 at mgear.com, this is a fantastic deal on a strong (9 kN gate open) wiregate biner. It's not as light as the Superfly, Helium, Doval, etc., but you can afford to buy a lot more of these!
4 biners if I'd had to pay full price, but at $4.68, 5 biners is more appropriate.
