Review 5 out of 5 stars

I have the double locking version and it's great. plenty of room for any need, plus the double locking, auto-loc feature is a life saver. although after auto-loc, you get spoiled. fits in my hand nice and isn't heavy despite it's size.

It does what it's supposed to do but it's pretty huge. Nice to have the keylock gate though.

This is the uncontested Mack Daddy of belay biners.
However, after a while I realized I just don't need the Mack Daddy of belay biners. A smaller one just seemed to make more sense--lighter, less bulky, easier to manage. So now I use the Atache, also by Petzl. All the good stuff from the William, in a smaller package. If you need the big size, William is unbeatable. Otherwise, I strongly recommmend the atache. By the way, William who??

This is a great locking carabiner, i just bought it a few days ago, works great with double rope rappels because of its wide size. The keylock nose is such an incredible thing, it seems so basic and simple but saves me so much frustration. Works great with a Gri Gri or ATC

This is a great power point biner (just don't screw to tight while weighted or you better have a wrench!).

It has great big opening with good locking gate.

I have two which I use for my haul bag powerpoints
