Aliens, bizare name eh but these camming devices have their place on my rack simply because they work so well where a lot of other cams don`t or are less than optimal. The slim head works great in small pockets and the flexible stem creates the conditions where the cam is less likely to walk in to the crack. The smaller sizes in the range should only be used by the experienced trad and aid climbers on absolutely bomber rock. I really like the oh so smooth action of these babies and the hybrids are way funky for those offset placements in flaring cracks. I love em. I gave the Camalots a five and I`m doing the same for Aliens as they are both the best for quite different jobs. Aliens complement Camalots on any rack, different certainly but both superbly built.
