These are my 4th pair of shoes, my 3rd pair of Sportivas, which seem to work best on my wide feet. I've only been climbing in them for a few months, but so far I love them! Not too uncomfortable, but nice precision feel for the gym, plus I recently tried them out at J-Tree and they edged great!

I love this shoe! It is my first Sportiva and I don't think I could ever go back because the fit is just phenomenal. I was wearing Scarpa Turbos and then Madrock Flashes before I bought the women's Katanas and there's just no comparison. LaSportiva's rubber may not quite be as good as the Madrock rubber but I definitely would take the excellent fit over slightly better rubber. The heels were a bit painful at first but the shoes molded to my feet really nicely. I'd definitely recommend this shoe to any woman who climbs at an intermediate/advanced level.
