Been using the Jaws as my primary device since 2002. Love the flexibility it gives me and have found it one of the best around.

Love it! When i wear this one down i will get another one. Since I am a light climber, the jaws help me stop some of my heavier partners easy. Then you can flip it around to rap off. Better than a regular ATC in my opinion.

Great belay, the teeth are not too, aggressive so its good for letting someone down and you can just switch it around for rappeling.

Great belay device. It tends to provide a little too much friction for my taste when rappelling but is otherwise a great device.

don't let the rating i gave it fool you, it is a great beginner device. the jaws really help to cinch down that line. i always turned it around when i rappelled so the jaws didn't bite as i was going down. now that i've been climbing awhile, it stays home though.
