Great for protecting pockets. Not as stabel as their 4 lobed counterparts.

These cams are pretty sweet. In the smaller sizes, they supplement Aliens nicely, they have a narrow head, but a different lobe placment, so that you can really optomize your placement.
In the larger sizes, they work nice in pin scars or weird sandstone pods.
Somewhat limited vs the Aliens due to the double stem, which limits placements whichrequire a more "vertical" orientation of the lobes.
I would not buy these until you've got yer aliens.

Metolius three cam units definitely have a place on my rack. I like them for their smooth action and the fact that when placed they are far less likely to walk in inside parallel sided smooth cracks. There`s just something that cannot be defined that satisfies me lots when I`m placing these pieces. Ya stick it in the crack and go "yeah, nice". I would recommend TCU`s on anyones rack.

These TCUs are sweet! They're so smooth, just like their bigger metolius counterparts. They also work in placements where other things fall short. I like these and would recommend them to anyone (who knows how to use them).
