I loove my stingers! Great for edging, they do stretch i went 2 sizes down from my street shoes, once ya get used to them you can use them for anything from edging on flakes at the new to smearing on granite at looking glass.

This is a great shoe for steep, thin sport routes. The edging is very reliable as I found they hold better than my Aces on super-small flakes and crystals. I sized mine a full size down from my street shoe and they hurt like hell for the first few climbs, but they did stretch and now feel quite nice. These shoes really aren't for everyone, but Boreal shoes just fit my feet better than any other brand, so chances are if you have another pair of Boreals and like them, this will be a good pair for more advanced sport routes.

decent shoe, nice edging , heel isnt too bad, I like the shape of the sole and the little concaveness in the board.

the only thing I don't like about these shoes is the stitching up the heel, it goes straight up the back and protrudes quite a bit.. after about 30 minutes of wear, the stiches start to cut into the heel, which isn't cool.

Now that i've tried a few different brands, i find that this rubber is not the best.

The shoe is a good advanced shoe and I use it mainly on overhangs. I find that due to the thick rubber on the inner foot (front part) it's difficult to edge. Though some people use this feature entirely for edging. I purchased mine because they were on sale. Due to the shape of the shoe, they're very very difficult to smear in. didn't stretch much at all for me, and any other female i have talked to finds they do not fit their feet well either due to the depth of the heel cup.

a shoe with great sensitivity and overhang performance. one of the best shoes for overhangs once you resole with c4.

in my experience the ideal size is about 1-1.5 sizes below your street size. the shoe WILL stretch a lot.

it has never let me down. it yould get a "5" if it had better rubber. and dual pull on loops. once you fit the lacing the right way, youll be amazed at the sensitivity. its just short of amazing.
