I've owned 4 Mammut ropes and they are fantastic. I highly recommend the Duodess version which changes pattern in the middle of the rope. Not only can you find the middle easily, you can easily find both ends. The first time you're benighted on a route with a Duodess is when the extra money is totally worth it.

If you're looking for a 10.5, this is a good one.

Good rope. Nice and supple right out of the box. It fuzzed up pretty quickly but always maintained a nice hand.

Workhorse you say. This rope lasted me 2 years and I used four to five times a week. nuff said
