This shoes are good, but I almost want to rate them lower because the velcro Anastazi and the Evolve Kaos do such a better job. Once again, Five Ten has introduced "dime-edge" technology, which is nothing more than a fancy way of saying that they made the toe portion stiffer and thicker. I wore these for 3 months while my Antastazi's were off for repair, and these never performed up to their level; however they were good performers overall and I have no major complaints. They are less stiff than the Southwest, which is good, but you could spend your money better elsewhere. If you can get these shoes for a cheap price, I would go for it, but there is no way they're worth close to $140. They come sized very very small... you'll need to buy at least one half size larger, and possibly even a whole size, depending upon the width of your foot.

I first tried on a pair of Anasazi Velcro and those fit pretty damn good, but I wanted a shoe that would be a little stiffer after breaking them in. The T-Rocks don't dissappoint. They have really good edging ability and a supportive mid-sole, but it is stealth rubber which does wear pretty fast. They can smear real nice too. I wore a 9.5 in the velcro and I am 100% satisfied with the 10 after a coupla weeks of wear. Real sweet shoes that can be used for an almost all-around except that mine are TIGHT!

Excellent high-performance shoe. Great edging and smearing, padded tongue to take the bite off the laces. I use these on very technical routes, and for bouldering. Size them really tight for best performance - they don't stretch much.

I love my T-rocks they edge great and smear on even some pollished out limestone that I boulder on near home. The outer rim on these look- feel great and the center pushes up for more contact when Im smearing. Had a problem with my shoes realized my right foot was bigger than left foot the guys at five ten were great and sent me new size. They were a great help

i got some on sale from rei for like 55 bucks. what a steal. not much to add to what's already been said, except these seem to run small, which i've heard high performance shoes tend to do.
i dunno if they have fixed this or not, but one of the pull on tabs could have been sewn in better. as mine are, the side tabs are sewn inside the shoe, so they arre exposed to my ankle, when they could have been sewn between the layers of fabric so as not to be exposed to the skin, as the heel tabs are. it's a minor inconvienence, and with the shoes so tight, it's not that big a deal anyway, but i think it would make the shoes a little nicer...
