I've only been cold in this bag once and I was sleeping in a Bivy burried in snow half way up of a mountain. It packs small and keeps me nice and toasty. I usually have to vent it to keep from overheating. If I sweat when you're sleeping in cold weather, I usually cool off then freeze because of the moisture. And then the condensation gets cold and the bag doesn't really do it's job and that, as we all know, sucks.
