Wonderfull jacket! Used it for both ice climbing and hiking in winter conditions in the NE, kept me dry and warm. The fabric is ver very wind resistant, yet wicks perspiration very well. The hood is a nice addtion while Ice climbing and belaying. Keeps your neck and head warm. Overall, the best softshell I've used (I tried Patagonia and ArcTeryx in the past).
