these shoes are very comfy. a little stiffer than a straight slipper, they provide great support. very sensitive shoe. I have been thoroughly pleased. i have used mine from bouldering, to sport, to trad, to multi-pitch sport and have been very pleased with them.

I agree on the very comfortable and also very precise shoe, due to it's outside midsole. However, the design of the heel is fairly poor and this is not a shoe to try heel-hooking in.

Wow...I can't believe nobody has reviewed these yet. I bought these a couple of years ago before moving to Yosemite. They were the first pair of shoes I owned that actually fit great. I started out just wearing them bouldering, and sticking to my newtons for routes(trad, that is). Eventually I realized that the zlippers climbed better and were more comfortable. It takes a little time to get used to wearing them on long routes since there's no midsole(except around the edge where it's most important). The only thing that isn't great is the fact the zipper can hurt if your jamming them in a wide crack. But otherwise they are the shoe to own.
