Everything that isnt great about the BD Oval has been corrected with this carabiner. And the best part is that its still an oval and keeps the footprint of your rack the same.
Pros:
Light, strong, clips well, racks gear well, versatile, less gate flutter, and won't ice up.
Cons:
Dont rack stoppers on these, they work out. Other than that, cant think of much.

Okay, so its an oval. Heavy, 'weak', blah, blah, blah.
I love my ovals. Love 'em. My entire rack is ovals (and ovalwires).
This carabiner rocks.
Pros:
Versatile, racks tons of gear, doesnt cross-load easily, and has a friendly footprint. Although not super strong, it will handle 18kn, which is stronger than the cam its clipped to.
Cons:
Heavy (eh, weight builds character!), 'weak' (if you sport climb, this isnt the carabiner for you), doesnt clip like a dream (that's what ovalwires are for!).
All in all, its a cheap, reliable carabiner that is still the workhorse of the industry.

I will say that Philbox gave a great review. I think that the Big Bros are very specialized and take practice to place. With the release of the newest 'bro' with an expansion range of up to 18", chimneys can now be protected. Woo!
Since I seem to have a fetish with those nasty things we call off-widths, I just had to acquire some, since running it out 80 feet is not my idea of fun. And although they can be tough to place, better to have the option.....

A quick-drying, lightweight, non-cotton t-shirt. Love it. Probably the most comfortable shirt I own. I bought another one just in case I thrash this thing on a climb, although I'v been wearing the one I own for months and it still looks new. No fraying, no stains, its a beautiful thing.

Wow. Definitely better than BD's BDV's. These pants have a zipper, which obviously makes them better.
Pros- lightweight, stretchy, schoeller. They breathe well, shed water, dry from fully soaked in less than 20 mins, and resist abrasion. They have a sticky elastic around the bottom cuffs for alpine boots or ice climbing. Zippered pocket on the thigh and at the waist. nice to have a pocket access even with a harness.
Cons- smallish belt loops. no closeable cuffs on the bottom. expensive. no rear pockets.
All in all a stellar pant for outdoor activity. It breathes well, I've worn them in 100 degree weather and didnt overheat at all. Well worth the money.
