great biner 4 out of 5 stars

I've bought two sets of 6 draws each since the wirelock has hit the market. It's without a doubt my prefered draw. The biner is easy to clip either with the rope or through a hanger. The nose is larger than others due to the "ball" catch at the end of the gate wire, but I've never had an issue with it. The wire gate does twist as it reaches the "ball catch in the nose but this has not been an issue as far as clipping, ever. The gate action is strong and swift. You will hear your partner cliping has the wire gate snaps shut as he climbs up the head wall unlike most standard barrel gates. This is not to mention the draws are still among the lightest on the market. The only issue I've experienced is the rare occurrence, due to rope play I imagine, the bolt clipped biner orientates itself sideways so to be in a potentially cross-loaded position. I've solved this issue by using some of girlfriend's hair bands to secure the biner on the thin dyneema dogbone. I haven't had an issue since ... I imagine you can use O-rings from a hardware store too.

How long did you say it was going to take? 2 out of 5 stars

I've had a few pair resoled by these guys. While I think the work was well done, I won't be using the Rubber Room anytime in the near future. Each time it took great than 4 weeks to get the shoes returned. They should spend more time working than climbing to improve their business. Go with RockandResole in Colorado. Good service, great turn-around (10 days including work and shipping, both ways), and high quality.
