I've had this helmet for a looooong time. It's nice and light, but the adjustment system (screwing pegs into your head) takes some fiddling with. Also, there are no clips to hold a headlamp in place, which is a major pain. Finally, the thing is just...well, it's huge. It makes your head look like a mushroom, and if you're coming up from under a roof, it WILL find a way to catch on something. I'm hoping to replace soon with a Meteor III, but this was one of the first lightweight helmets on the market when I bought it, and I've been very happy with it, in general.

I've had two of these harnesses, and I get a lot of ribbing from my friends: "Why don't you get something with padding on it?" I dunno if I'm weird, but I find this harness way more comfy than any padded harness I've tried. Maybe it's the wide surface area of the leg loops. Anyway, it's a great, cheap, lightweight harness. I've done my share of hanging in it, and I've got no complaints...

A good cheap harness if you're wearing it over some nice thick snowpants :)
If you're rock climbing, get the Bod, vs. the Alpine Bod. A little padding on the waist makes all the difference...

This was my second pair of slippers, after I thoroughly trashed my old Boreal Ninjas. I love these shoes. They edge really well, they've outlasted two pairs of lace-ups even though I climb sharper, nastier things in these. Sensitive, supple, durable, easy on and off (despite being many sizes small). I climbed in 'em last night, I'll climb in 'em tomorrow, and I'll keep climbing in 'em till they explode. Wish they still made 'em...
