Komito 2 out of 5 stars

I had a similar experience as bnoble, but it was many years ago. They turned a precise, narrow- toed pocket/edging shoe (for the era, anyway) into something with performance comparable to Spanish rubber soled Converse All-Stars. The rand replacement was delaminating the first time I climbed in them. Looks like they still have the same quality workmanship 15 years later!

Some BAD Vert Shoes 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: chouca, 2006-11-20

These shoes are made for big dudes that stand on dimes. Very well built with a thick, not very sensitive sole, padded tongue, and very durable. Run a bit narrow, and kinda hurt us wide footed types. The toe can handle pockets quite well, but they're not recomended for Euro limestone.

My go to face shoe for JTree, Tuolumne, T Wall and all other bastions of technical vert climbing.

I love this biner. Noticebly lighter than the solid gate version, but with all of the same great handling and ease. This biner size is easier on your rope and faster to grab. The extra grams won't kill ya. DMM is the shiite!

This is a good product, but I feel it is overrated. It makes for a pretty good under layer for ice climbing and outer jacket for spring snowboarding, snowshoeing, and trail running in cool weather.

But the Driclime windshirt is and always has been awful in anything but delicate drizzles. Tt gets wet very fast. It's abrasion resistance is awful for rock climbing. I would choose a lightweight, close-fitting softshell pullover instead of this in a heartbeat. You can get one for about the same price, and it's better than this in every way.
