Best helmet out there 5 out of 5 stars

The Meteor III is a runaway favorite of all helmets i have used. This is the lightest, most comfortable helmet tested. If you can afford it and are looking for the best (and have the awareness to take proper care of it), go with the Meteor III. It has total top–of-the-head coverage, is fully adjustable and has a comfortable suspension system. It's the perfect helmet for climbing at your limit, especially if you're extremely weight–conscious. Most importantly, it is one of the few helmets that completely eliminates the excuse to not wear a helmet. Unless you are concerned about how chic you look in photos, there is no reason to climb without a helmet, especially when it is this light and comfortable.

Awesome 4 out of 5 stars

These are one of the most comfortable and convenient shoes I have ever owned. I probably have 600+ days of climbing on about six different pairs. They are just so comfortable and easy to get on and off. Most people who buy these for the gym love them and never look back. Most people who buy these for the their "comfy shoes" often find themselves mostly using them on just about everything (as I did). Its surprising how often a "gym slipper" works well for just about everything. If I was buying multiple shoes for multiple applications, I would get a pair of these and the Five Ten Anasazi VCS. However, if I were on a budget or just starting out and and could only buy one pair, I would go with the Evolv Defy because it is less expensive and will have a bigger range of applications. still my favorite for Yosemite 5 out of 5 stars

The Black Diamond Camalot C4 is still my favorite one-inch and larger cam for big walls and trad climbs. It works better than nearly any other cam for shallow and awkward placements often encountered in Yosemite and other granite areas. It is very durable and if you look at the racks of accomplished Yosemite climbers you will see this is the cam of choice.
