I bought these shoes in Yosemite to replace a blown out pair of Mythos. Some observations: They are really sensitive and very comfy and the Onyx rubber is really sticky. A well build heel cup that actually fits (compared to the Anasazi). The lace up system is a bad design. While lacing up one pair in the shop I actually broke a loop! I hear its a common problem but I didnt have much choice so I picked up another pair and they are ok. A soft last means they really crank your feet in cracks; you'll stick but be in pain too! The last also means that they will work better if you have strong feet (but will help develop strength as well). I don't think they stay cool at all and when they get hot they can feel sloppy. Despite all the cons I actually really like these shoes. They are the only pair of 5.10s that ever fit my foot right and I like how comfy and sticky they are. I recommend checking the lace loops in the shop (give them a good tug) and maybe sewing a another stitch in yourself to prevent breaks.
