Great cam for the beginner. I bought them to beef up my 5 cam rack and have loved thier presence. They are tricky to place and walk a lot, but when funds are low, they are a life saver.

Rockcentrics 5 out of 5 stars

I have had the slung rockcentrics for 5 years now and they are my favorite piece of gear on my rack (when I'm not in a desert splitter). Having them slung is perfect for trad lines, keep rope drag down and less movement of piece.
For aid, i like my Black Diamond wired hexes, because you can place them higher.
They are the best for trad

These hexes are my favorite pieces of gear on my small beginner rack. I am just learning about placing pro and found them extremely easy to place bomber protection. The design allows you to select a typically wrong sized gear from you rack but still manage to make it work by using its other sides. The dyneema slings make sure that you won't pull it out as you continue to climb up and over it, keeping it a sound placement. Great for protecting slightly flaring cracks. Very Versatile!
