The design is slightly different than the photo/description. There is no removeable lid on the retail product; instead it has a water-repellant, roll-down top. I like this better than the 50kg version (which does have the removeable lid) because the opening is huge and I don't have to mess with drawstrings. Plus, being able to roll down the top allows me to get a tighter pack when the pack isn't fully loaded.

I'm new to climbing, but used to be a bag designer, so I was able to use a little bit of analization in my decision as to which pack to go with. Unfortunately, the jobs I had were for K-Mart type product, so technical design consisted of daisy loops with contrast stitching.... So I was very happy when my more experienced climbing partners oohed and ahhhed over the bag, going so far as to consider purchasing it for themselves. They especially liked the water repellant top and the gear loop hip belt.

Well designed. Padded waist and leg loops are very comfortable. Leg loops are easily adjustable for a good fit, and droppable, too. Fit contours to my body very nicely.
