I agree that it is easy to use, but it is heavy and it twists your rope. This was the first rapelling device I owned and had used it as a belay device when I first started climbing. I owen two and continue to take it on multipitch trad climbs ... one never knows when your current belay device may dissapear!

In an unexpected emergency situation, where you do not have your assenders, these little buggas are a life saver. I wouldn't use them unless I had to due to the rope issues, but I always have them on my rack. Small, light and easy to set up.

I've never been on an alpine route before, done aid or even trad, but I have been in the mountains and this film is pretty real as to the day to day living conditions. A lot of nice rock and climbing scenery. If you like crack climbing, this is for you. I was a little disapointed about the technical aspects of the climbs, but all in all, I enjoyed it and will recommend it to my partners.

The product has rock like features and the texture is gritty so the hands/feet stick well. The company shipped it and I received it within 3 days.

It's basically a repeat of his first and second edition, but well worth it for beginners.
