Comfort and Quality 5 out of 5 stars

I originally purchased this shoe for all day traditional climbing, I ended up using them for 80% of my climbing. They are comfortable, if sized right. I got these slightly bigger than my sport route shoes. I can wear them all day or for the hours that I climb. The padding is great and excellent for cracks. The rubber lasted a summer with no quality issues with the rest of the shoe. Lace up works good and with a lower price I used them on everything but my hardest onsite/redpoint projects. So good at what they do I used them for more than they are marketed for "trad" master, more like "climb" master.

Comfortable, well padded. Does everything a helmet should. The vents help keep cool. Really, really easy to adjust while on. Recommend for all. Haven't taken much rocks on the top, but it's certified. A nice smooth chin strap thanks to a little velcro pad thingy

I ended up using these shoes for onsite and redpoints at my hardest level. That is where they excel. I used them almost completely for edging climbing on sandstone. The fit is unforgiving if purchased too small. And because it is syth. in the two pairs I owned, I wore through above the middle toe knuckle. The rubber: each pair lasted 3 to 4 months of medium to heavy use on sport and plastic routes. The heel on 5.10s never fit my foot, hence only 4 stars. I would now hesistate to purchase because of the price.

The main test for this shoe is, "Would I buy it again?" Yes. I'm on month four with these shoes (climbing 3-5 times a week) bouldering, gym, and a few one pitch climbs. Great edging even after four months. strong rubber and it fits like a second layer of skin. I got two sizes smaller than my walking shoe. Short period to stretch and comfortable enough that I only have to take them off once while doing 3 hours of climbing at the gym. Worked great for crack and face climbs. I can get them for $70. My main shoe for now.

From the prospective of a new climber: I bought these the same size as my walking shoe. Very comfortable and worked very well for building up technique in the gym. I would've liked the rubber to last longer. I got three-four months out of these. And as a beginner I never used the heel. I recommend this to new climbers. I'm undecided to if I would buy another pair.
