This shoe is amazing for its versatility. i feel comfortable wearing it on anything, whether it involves roping up or bouldering. I also wroe flashes before i got this and the difference in rubber is really what i noticed; although the flashes felt a little stickier they wore out really fast in the toe area wheras my katanas are still flying strong! the heel fits me really well too, better than the anasazi heel which still feels all wrong. I used these shoes in bishop and they felt great and i wear them both indoor and out in santa barbara. i do agree with what nautica said above though, when it comes to smearing they dont do that well. other than that they rock the rocks.
