Super cheap compared to others 5 out of 5 stars

It has a great size and weight, I can't notice a difference between this and the BDs we normally use except that the gate on them feels a little sticky when first pushing on it. The best thing was I got 4 for them for $7 each. That is like buy 2 get 2 free over the name brand prices. To me once they get a little banged up and scratched they will easily become leave behind biners without much heart ache. I will use then and not really worry if my partner doesn't treat them with the care of his precious petzl lockers.

Heavy monsters for bomber anchors 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: sevs, 2010-02-21

I bought these only cause they went on clearance at REI and I needed some biners for anchors. These are really heavy compared to the other screwgate lockers I have but they seem absolutely bomb proof for any anchor type application. They are also huge so no reservations about gate opening wide enough or being able to place thick rope through them. I showed one of my 'ultra lite freak' friends and he laughed at them and said we can use them to set up a top rope to attach to his wench on his land rover to pull it up the face.

What more do you need? 5 out of 5 stars

This ATC actually came with the BD momentum package and while it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the ATC-XP or Gri-Gri I love it. I have used it to belay and rappel and have no problems with it.

Very comfortable for my first shoe 5 out of 5 stars

These are the first shoe I have bought, I paid $75 at REI and bought my street shoe size. I have taken them bouldering in the gym and climbing 2 times. I can see the rubber on the toe getting worn slightly but can still read a bit of the STEALTH so it's not too bad. I haven't noticed them stretch at all yet. I laugh at my climbing friends that can only keep their shoes on for 30 minutes or less. I have worn these for hours at a time with no problems.

I was looking around at sports chalet for gear and saw this for clearance, paid about $40 for it and have used it climbing 2 times so far. I was using borrowed gear before that was a bit worn out so this is nice. Will have to see how long it all lasts. My climbing buddy said it was a good deal since the chalk bag, chalk shot, BD ATC and biner would have easily been over $40. It was like getting a beginner harness for free and if I need to upgrade later it won't really bother me.
