Fifi Hook With 25CM Sling (Manufacturer link) Average Rating : 3.25/5
In: Gear: Essential Equipment: Protection: Passive: HooksIf you're not aiding, don't get it.

I don't do much aid climbing. The only thing I really use it for is for hanging my gear at the crag; it's good for hauling as well, but I haven't used it this way. The only other use I found is for testing placements when learning.
I still gave it a 4 because my friend uses it for aiding, and doesn't leave the ground without it.

Good book to learn about trad leading. It does fulfill it's purpose allright, but I would like it to have more advanced concepts.

its by far the best device i have owned, I got it by accident, and now I'm selling my other device. It's by far the best on multipitch climbs (yes, even better than the reverso). The rope handling is great with it; it has slightly less friction than the XP when used in high friction mode, but its great if you ask me.

I have the vision velcro shoes, they're simply great. They hold on to the smallest bump in the rock
