I LOVE IT!! Best belay device I have used. Rappels quickly belays great. I have yet to catch a lead fall on it, perhaps a atc-xp may be better for that, I have yet to find out. The coolest feature on it is the autolocking. It makes belaying a second from the top of a pitch easy!! It should be on your harness just for that reason.

It isn't as fluid as an atc, is really jerky on both lowering as well as rappelling during either it gets extremely hot. It is hard to even thread larger diameter ropes. I would definetly pass up on one of these for an atc or reverso

Inexpensive and comfortable. I notice the newer models have a belay loop, I wish I had one. But it has lasted and has been comfortable very much a great first harness.

BIG beaner - you can get allot in it b/c of the offest gate. really a good beaner - not good if you need a small one for like a gri gri but with an atc it works wonders
