Stellar performer. My favorite womens' specific yet. 5 out of 5 stars

I've had trouble getting a fit in La Sportiva models in the past, but something about this last and shape is a PERFECT fit for my foot, and my sample pair also fit my climbing partners who have slightly smaller or larger feet than I do... I think they nailed a great fit range with this model.

Ignore the daisies (unless you like them). For lower volume feet, who want a higher performance shoe, check these out.

For me, they've been an all-around great shoe since starting to break them in earlier this spring. Excellent balance of smearing capability and durability, the shape of the toe makes them uniquely good for edging, and excellent sensitivity. The three-strap velcro closure is much better than earlier two-strap versions on womens models; where I've had heal slippage before, I don't in this model.

Hands down, I love this shoe.

The short version... there's no compromise here. These shoes edge like nothing else; they smear great; they fit fantastically; and they are incredibly precise and sensitive. They're, to date, my favorite shoe I've climbed in. I agree with the other reviewers that they stretch a great deal -- when mine arrived, I could only get my right foot into the shoe, my left foot was a no go until I put them through the washing machine.

The long version is on my blog, including more detail on fit comparison and wear.
