I only have a bootied green curve nut. I really like it. All the placements I've gotten with it have been great. I'd consider buying these but I'm waiting for DMM to release the new version of the HB offsets and I've got an a set of BD stoppers and ABC Huevos already. Otherwise, I'd really consider buying these guys or maybe the new Metolius ultralights.

Just get it. It has served me well for 3 years and going. For some cragging you can fit pretty much everything in it. Today inside the bag I had a 60M rope, quickdraws (17), and a climbing guide tucked behind the webbing closures. Attached to the handle was water, harness, helmet, shoes, etc. I ended up carrying just a gatorade bottle down. I've also used it multi-pitch, and it performs well in that function as a backpack, just make sure items are clipped to the handles or really stuffed into the tarp while the rope is out. I've heard it will easily hold a 70M rope, which I don't doubt.

OK, it's a little premature since I just used it today, but I used it on my thick rope (11m) and it handled SO smoothly. Got the Petzl attache with it, and the combo seems to work like a dream. feeding out and taking in has never been so easy. Rapelling was also very smooth and controlled. Hands down, handles better than my ATC XP.

I've done a loooonng day in it and it held up great! Just sport climbing, so I don't know about trad uses. I tried the Petzl products on but I just didn't like their fit, and I'm not really trusting of the non-double back buckle they employ. This harness actually pretty fancy compared to my old one (BD Focus), so I'm not apt to bitch about a basic harness as others are prone. Plus, the price is definitely right!
