Jamie Chong on Permanent Waves
Here's Jamie nearing the crux of permanent waves, 13c. This is one of the most spectacular looking routes around, and has some amazing climbing on it. More photos can be found in the gallery section on my website.

Such a cool line! Have you guys redpointed it yet? Coolest looking of the sport routes in squamish. Someday...

Geeze. CRAZY SICK ROUTE

I would like to point out the shere awesomeness of this boulder. Think of something big... This is much bigger.

I have a poster of this climb up in my room from rock and ice. It looks soo sweet.
Yeah, I saw this in Rock and Ice too!! I absolutely love this climb. CRAZINESS!!

Beautiful climb...but chipped! :(

holy crazy scary cool shizz

THAT'S A BOULDER??!???!?!!!!! craziness

That route looks like a neverending boulder problem.

Burly

Dude, you have some sick pics!
I don't get it>>> where's the line? Whole thing's contrived, if you ask me!
um, its a JOKE

No one seems to care that its chipped...

it does take something away, but it still aesthetically pleasing.

Not only is the route chipped, you are also obliged to climb part way up a tree to get to the climb. The route's 'creator' delimbed the tree for this purpose, and hammered a number of spikes on either side of the trunk to facilitate one’s passage. Sort of like making one’s way up a telephone pole. The crux is definitely chipped, but this is nothing out of sorts for the fellow responsible for this route: Jim-hammer and pot o’ glue-Sandford. Still, it is a far cry from the routes just out of shot and to the right of this picture. Those routes are completely manufactured, with a number of deftly drilled pockets and jugs.
