I would prefer the second wall a little bit blurry or in other lighting. The cool geometry is hidden by the fact that all stone looks the same.

I agree with mangiari. It's takes a bit away from the arete.

That tag in the corner ruins the shot.

Nice shot, beautiful rock ... too bad there is so much chalk.

i actually love the chalk on this shot. it difinitely brings out the geometry. sweet shot.<BR><BR>and loose the tag in the corner. or at least make it less noticable. spend some more time in PS and "engrave" it or something.

I agree, blurr the background.

good god, it looks like the fall into the arete would hurt.

Kubi, a fall misses the arete. This is quite possibly the most over-rated climb in Oregon, and definately the most photographed; and yes, I have.

It may not be the best 12c in the park, but it definitly a great looking line.

i agree a slightly shallower DOF would make the climber pop out a lot more- you still get the 'flattened' perspective of a longer lens but then the climb has a more out there feel...
im also not sure about the timing.. but allinall a pretty damn good shot!!
and could people stop asking every photog to get rid of their watermark!!! gawd! if you want to see it without the watermark, buy a print!!

Considering the interesting movement available on this route, the climber is in a pretty boring position.

What's with the mid-day light?

blah blah blah community college? That'd be funny if you weren't still studying for the ACT.
