Women's Bouldering Weekend '02

POW WOW Boulders at Jones Road(Rhode) (Arete V1+/V2 - fun sit start) We had a really good turnout at the women's bouldering weekend in Sept 2002. Women from all walks of life came to enjoy the wonderful world of bouldering. Here I am topping out on the Sherwood boulders near Kenora, ON. Doesn't have a good view of the arete, but love the bird's eye view of most of us (spotting, checking out the beta, etc). Also reminds me of our new project, "The Boob Mantle" boulder, as we giggled about the pros and cons of being buxom or not. We didn't get a shot of it, but lets just say, "hey look, no hands!!!!" Good to see new and experienced climbers come together to worship these wonderful granite masterpieces!! Cheers to the chicks chalking, talking and gawking out at the craggs!! -Sue-
