Hallets Peak from Emerald Lake

My partner and I hiked up to Emerald Lake, looked at our watches and turned around under this beautiful blue sky. Our late start was out of both of our comfort zones. It's so hard to turn around when the conditions look this perfect and when the mountain beckons you. Our good judgement paid off as a huge storm rolled in around 3 hours later. Our route, Culp Bossier is located on the 2d buttress.
