Frozen a4naught on JT's Cranny

Frozen a4naught on JT's Cranny

a4naught (Cathy) on her very second time on real rock scratching up JT's Cranny (5.8) on TR. This was part of Steve Voorhis' Winter 2002 Fullerton College Rock Climbing class. A true highlight. This day, St. Paddy's Day, it was colder than my icebox and windy taboot, so I could not feel my toes or fingers once I hit the rock. Most of the way up I started to freak out a bit because I couldn't tell if my fingers were holding well, or ready to butter off, so, I bailed before the TR anchor biner. The gal who took the shot was also in the class and kindly gave me the photo and negs she took of my partner and I, but...I've forgotten her name! Perhaps she will see this and drop me a line so I can credit her fully. One degree lower and we'd have broken out the ice axes. Burrrrrr!
