The grande entrance (view)

This is the nice entrance to the park sht near the trinket stores that sell anything of the Tower you desire: shirts, statues, bookends, pins, calendars. My fav thing was strolling under moonlight the 20 min. from the campground to the stores here and maybe catching the 9pm showing of Close Encounters of the Third Kind projected on one of the store's outside walls, with the dark Tower shadow behind, kid's screaming, popcorn smells; a classic, different spin on a climbing locale.
