Preparing for my first trad lead (view)

This shot was taken as I was gearing up for my first trad lead in January of 2001. I don't remember the name of the climb, only that it took a bit of bushwacking to get to, and it was a 5.8. About two-thirds of the way up, I took my first lead fall onto trad gear (a #6 stopper, if I remember correctly). Ah, the memories...
