Lauren hits Jump Start's dynamic start (view)

Lauren Terp toward the bottom of Jump Start (5.10a) at Barn Bluff off the Mississippi in Red Wing, Minnesota (which is not entirely flat). This was a fairly dicey climb for Lauren, who was fairly new to leading at the time. Appropriately named, Jump Start is mostly dicey near the deck. Photo by christopher mitchell
