This is my friend Tyler bouldering in Leavenworth. I belive we were uphill from the Beach, it took some hiking and scrambling to get here. I was leaving for Costa Rica the day after this, and wanted to get in one last session. Gorgeous morning, perfect rock.

This is a difficult climb on the river side of the boulder. Not much to edge on, and very few holds.

This is one of the guys I met up with on a climbing trip to Leavenworth last spring- he is climbing a V6 at the Forestland bouldering area. This was his 5th try at the problem- he actually stuck this move off a real high heel hook and toped out. Pretty sweet.

After seeing a picture of me on a 30 ft. highball, my dad sat me down and had a serious discussion with me about safety before I ventured out for my next weekend climbing trip. On monday, this is what he recieved in his inbox at work...

The actual route "outer space" splits that really clean looking face right down the middle of the wall. Sort of nice that you can scope the route on the hike in..

This is a profile shot, shot from the side of Cocaine Connection at about 12:00 pm. Climber is Murray. This was a very good route and because we got on it early we had it all to ourselves-a rare occurance in Icicle, espesially on this route. Look close for the belayer above the climber. What a rad little river. I thought places like this only existed in Colorado I love this area except the town is just an insane tourist trap..

In between rain/sleet I snapped this view looking up the valley of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This was taken from the top of Pitch 6 or seven on Outer Space,

Suz on top of outer space. YOu know I bet she is getting real tired of me screwing up her name.. Sorry.. Yeah so we toped out Outer Space and there was this perfect rainbow in the valley.. Sort of hard to see. Man that was such a great climb, and a little rainbow to finish it up...

This a problem (V5) I was working in the Mad Meadows area in Leavenworth. It starts in a hueco with an undercling and a drop-knee, then you go up to the side pull. The move after that was the doosy... Photo taken by Jookyhead.

Isaac about to throw for the top on this short V1 problem. It's a jump start for those of us under six foot.
